Many people had gotten Lien before me, so I've been admiring all the photos on Twitter and Flickr while waiting for my girl. Chiriesz mentioned that she thinks this Lien might be the most beautiful Azone doll ever made, and this comment got me even more excited >3< After seeing Lien in person, I can only agree: this really might be the prettiest Azone girl ever ♥
Here's the box! I pre-ordered Lien through CDJapan, a shop that I'd never ordered from before. I didn't want to take the risk that I couldn't find her anywhere else (as she was sold out everywhere in just a few hours from being put up for pre-order) and I had heard that CDJapan is a good shop, so I decided to try them out. After this one experience, I have nothing negative to say :) I did see Lien pop up on AmiAmi a few times even after being sold out at first, but that might've not happened so I'm still satisfied that I went with CDJapan.
The packaging looks similar to AmiAmi's, a huge box and a lot of paper :'D
Here's what I could see after a little bit of digging x3
The doll was very carefully packed, in addition to all the paper there was also a layer of bubble wrap around the package.
Tadah! At this point I was already in love with the doll *o*
That face, those eyes... ♥
The box is really pretty as well, so I wanted to take photos from all sides... The promo pictures and the rose decoration designs on the box are just gorgeous!
There was also this leaflet that has a little story (I think?) with photos :) I can't read Japanese so I have no idea what it says, but I still took photos of all the pages in case you'd like to see! Even though I don't know the language well enough to read these little leaflets Azones come with, I still enjoy looking at the pretty photos XD
The last pages show the full outfit, also piece by piece :) I've always thought that many of Azone's default outfits are very detailed and come with a lot of stuff, but this felt like even more! ♥
Now we can finally move on to the doll X'D (I tend to go through all the papers and other stuff first...)
Here she is, finally out of the box! (at least almost...) I've named her Aurora, after the princess Aurora in Disney's Sleeping Beauty.
The little accessories: shoes, hairband and wristcuffs
Aaand the bustle piece :3
Yui (Picconeemo Lien) wanted to help her big sister by taking off the plastic around her head :'D
;____; ♥ So prettyyy~
The backside of the jacket looks like this
Under the hem of the jacket there are two snap fasteners for attaching the bustle :)
It's really easy to put on and looks gorgeous ♥
I tied her hair on a ponytail - look how cute she'd be with short hair ;___; I don't think I could cut her beautiful long hair though, I might start to miss it... Aurora can keep her princess hair and I can just tie it if I want to see her with this look again :3
So, what do I think of this new girl? She's perfect! ♥ Absolutely gorgeous~ I didn't really like Lien's face before, but with this version my opinion has completely changed >3< Aurora is like a sunshine, hopefully she'll continue bringing me joy through the gloomy autumn as well!
Yui is super happy to have her sister home too ^w^
