Meow, visiting a cat café

A brand new cat café opened in Helsinki today and of course I had to go check the place out right away with a few friends :3 It was actually Elina's idea to go there, as we were planning to meet anyway so I could deliver the Madoka figure that I sold to her and going to the cat café seemed like a perfect idea! We asked Tiinyan to come with us as well, she's probably the biggest cat lover among us ;3

We had reserved a table in advance, since the café mostly works on reservation. You could apparently also just walk in if there's room, but at least now on the opening day the place was quite crowded and the table reservations seem to be full until the end of this month o_o When we arrived, a number of reporters were there as well, to take photos of the cats and to interview the owner... Actually we also ended up being interviewed as customers for a local radio and Internet article :D We had to tell our names, why we had come to the cat café and what we thought of the place. It was a bit awkward, hahah.

Anyway, the place seemed great and it looked like the cats enjoyed being there! They were all very friendly and liked playing with the customers (though some enjoyed just sleeping XD). It was great to see that the place works on the cats' terms, it's like their home where we human guests need to respect them and behave well XD

Have a photo spam of cats now! ♥

This cat just slept the whole time we were there XD

Aaand we got to see many different sleeping positions...

Looks like it's comfy in there XD

Nice climbing places for the cats :3

Find a cat from the photo :D

We drank yummy soda :3 Mine's the orange one on the middle, Elina and Tiinyan chose the lemon flavor!

We had some dolls with us, but didn't feel comfortable taking them out at the cat café, since there were so many people and no privacy... Not the best place for doll meet-ups if you don't want everyone to come ask what the heck these dolls are XD But we went to McDonalds afterwards to grab something to eat and took a group photo of the dolls there~

From left to right: my Shiori, Elina's Pipos Ringo, Tiinyan's Mamachapp cutie and Alisa :3

Meow meow~~ ♥ Why did I not switch these hands on Shiori for the meet-up!! She's so angry with me now :((

Tiinyan must stop bringing these cute Mamachapps around me, I'm gonna want one for myself too >3< As if I don't already...

    1. Eipä mittään, kiva oli saada siutkin mukaan kissaparatiisiin ^^ Hirmu kiva paikka oli tosiaan, kannatti käydä! Ehkä tuo meno tuosta vähän rauhoittuu ja ei tarvitse toimittajien ahdistelua pelätä kun paikka on jonkun aikaa ollut pystyssä XD

      Nyyh nyt siun ja Mamachappien kanssa >:I Hypessä pyörähtänyt Meido Hina-chan taitaa olla se pahin houkuttelija johon olen törmännyt, kuka voisi vastustaa sitä suloista uguu-naamaa ;___;

    2. This was my first time visiting a cat café, I think this is only the second one in Finland and the other one is quite far away. Hope you get to visit a cat café someday too :)

    1. Oh yes, me too! ♥ And it was a pleasant thing to notice that the place was build around the cats and the owner wanted to make sure they're treated well :) They seemed to be really happy cats ♥

  4. Awww those cat photos are gorgeous safir! Cats are so cute. Those ones actually look like mine except a lot younger! I'd love to build a room like that for my cats but they are getting on in years now and wouldn't climb as much. Next time I go to Japan, I will definitely try and seek out a cat cafe and visit.

The Azones look lovely as always. I love the red kimono.

    1. Hih thanks! ^////^ I like taking photos of animals too, though they're a lot harder than dolls because they MOVE XDD And most of those kitties were energetic and moving all the time! I haven't visited cat cafes elsewhere, but hopefully the cats are treated as well as in this one!

Oh yes the red kimono is super pretty! Looking forward to getting some yukatas/kimonos in an Amiami order for my Azones as well :)
