When I first saw pictures of this figure, I wasn't sure at all whether I liked her or not. Sarg kept telling me that her face looks derpy and weird and I agreed that there was something about her face that was bothering me... or so I thought. But after seeing some people (like Janina) post pictures of the figure after receiving it, I realized that it actually looked GORGEOUS ♥ Of course I realized this after it was already sold out on Amiami and other stores ^^; I was sure I wouldn't be able to find one for a reasonable price anymore, but luckily my dear Sarg spotted it on Mandarake while I was at work and snagged it for me~ ♥
I already posted one quick picture of the figure inside its box on Instagram, but didn't have time to take any proper photos of the figure itself until today :3
For a "cheap" prize figure I think this is awesome quality! I have other Sonico figures by FuRyu too, but I think this is my new favorite ^^ Definitely the "queen" Sonico in my collection~ ♥
She's so beautifully painted! I love her shoes <3. She looks like she is singing along to the song on her headphones!
ReplyDeleteI do think so too! I compared her with some of my scale figures and I honestly don't see much difference in the painting quality ^^; Her pose is definitely really pretty too~

DeleteCongrats on the arrival! Sometimes, I think you just have to see owner photos of a figure/doll to determine whether it works for you. Promo photos can sometimes be a bit misleading or not correct, at least, that's what I've found.

Thank you ^^ I definitely agree... Promo photos can often leave me unsure about whether or not to order, which sucks since most of the times the figures are already sold out everyone and going for higher prices on the second-hand market when owner pictures are available >3<
DeleteI love her eyes too! ♥ FuRyu's Sonicos tend to have quite a repetitive face, they look look much alike... But that's okay since those eyes and the expression usually look great ^^
