Lights will guide you home

I thought that I'd edit some older photos before I completely forget them... ^^; I came up with the title after hearing Coldplay's song Fix You, while I was randomly listening to music and editing these pictures. I find music very inspirational - sometimes lyrics and/or melody give me inspiration and ideas for photography and sometimes I come across songs that create meanings to photos that I took just randomly. This time just this one line "lights will guide you home" hit me and I had to use it as a title for this post~

Anyway, here a few test photos of Sayuri (Swan Lake Raili) from a while ago :3

    I didn't realize the dress had a swan on it until now~ so pretty!!!

      There's a layer of white tulle net on top of the swan, so it's not so visible unless you lift the tulle layer a little bit ^^ It's such a pretty dress~

    Music is such a beautiful thing. I find myself often inspired by various songs whether it's for a particular character I am working on, a relationship between characters or a story. It's one of the biggest reasons I miss doing machinima. You can convey a lot through a musical score.

    I turned that particular song on as I was looking through this photo series and I can see why you chose that particular song. It really goes well with this set of photos. It created the perfect atmosphere and backdrop.

    Your photos as always are very beautiful. I can just see Sayuri walking along a snowy landscape and following these bright points of light that will lead her to something great.

      I agree, music can be such a big influence! Me and Sarg both also have many songs that inspire us and remind us of our characters, their relationships and backgrounds. Oh and I didn't know that you've done machinima, that sounds so interesting!

    Voi miten söpö! Musiikki voi olla inspiraation lähde hyvinkin monessa asiassa. :) Ihana yksityiskohta tuo joutsen tuolla mekon helmassa. Onko kaikki näitten vaatteet noin hyvin tehtyjä jos tämä nyt oli default asu?

      Kiitoksia! Musiikki on kyllä iso inspiraationlähde tosiaan :)

      Sanoisin että Azonen vaatteissa laatu vähän vaihtelee... Nämä satu-teemaiset nuket on tehty kukin yhteistyössä jonkun nukenvaatteiden tekijän kanssa, esimerkiksi tämän Swan Lake Railin asusta on vastannut Silver Butterfly. Tällä + parilla muulla satu-teeman Azonella joita meiltä löytyy on minusta todella upeat asusetit! Azonen omissa vaatteissa sitten tosiaan on välillä tosi hienoja ja välillä vähän vähemmän hienoja - saattaa langat repsottaa, reunoja ei ole huoliteltu mitenkään tms. ^^;

    Ihanan talvinen tuulahdus tuli tänne tän tytön mukana <3 Sayurin hiukset on jotekin maagisen viettelvä harmaa vaikken ennen oo harmaasaa kiinnittänyt niin huomioo mutta tämän hiukset hmmm <3

    A very appropriate title for these lovely photos Safir. Love the lighting it adds a wonderful mood to them. You are so right about music, it has an impact on us in so many ways. :)
