WonFes summer 2016 news

This year's summer Wonder Festival was held in Japan last Sunday and once again many future figure and doll releases were announced! I was really hyped about WonFes for some time before the event, but then I was so occupied with other stuff that I completely forgot about the whole thing and only remembered it again on the day of the event, when I saw all the WonFes photos on my Twitter feed :D It was quite an overwhelming day, carefully going through everything and adding the most interesting figures on my MyFigureCollection wishlist took some time. I wanted to share my favorites here on my blog too~

I'm really picky about scale figures and most likely won't end up purchasing many of these after seeing photos of the fully painted figure. At this point my wishlist is always huge, but then later a big number gets "eliminated" XD

First, let's take a look at the figure releases!

Ayase Eli 1/7 by Alter

The colored version was revealed at WonFes and omg, Eli looks absolutely stunning! ♥ I was hoping that I'd be content with getting just Alter's Nozomi, but then I couldn't resist Maki and now it looks like I might need to pre-order this Eli too >3< Thank god she won't be released until next year, so at least I'll have some time to save up! Love Live hurts my wallet so bad, but these girls are worth it! ♥

Shibuya Rin 1/8 (Triad Primus ver.) by Alpha x Omega

This unpainted prototype looks very promising, I like the pose and her face! Hopefully the colored figure will look pretty too :)

Kanzaki Ranko (Dark Princess) 1/7 by Alter

There are quite many scale figures of Ranko, but there's always something (either small details or bigger things) that bugs me and I haven't pre-ordered/bought any of the previous ones (I only have the Figma and one prize figure). This might be the first one I do want! Again, things might change after seeing the colors, but we'll see~

Ichinose Shiki 1/8 by Good Smile Company

Shiki is not even one of my favorite characters from iDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls, but this figure looks so pretty that I had to add it to my wishlist at this point *o*

Amami Haruka Nendoroid Co-de

I looove Nendoroids and Nendoroid Co-des, so I'm really happy to see more idol girls being made into Nendo Co-des~ Although I don't especially like Haruka, I think she looks adorable as a Nendo ;3;

Shijou Takane Nendoroid Co-de

Takane is my favorite girl from the original iDOLM@STER series, so seeing this announcement was a positive surprise! Unless the final figure ends up looking somehow weird, I definitely want to get her~

Cyan by Amakuni

Yaay, I'm so happy that there's going to be a scale figure of Cyan~ ♥ I've been wanting one since the series started airing! It's really hard to say anything based on just the announcement, but I hope the figure is going to look good and won't disappoint me >3<

Manaka Lala by Aquamarine

It's still unclear which coord it'll be, but I'm excited to see another Pri Para figure nevertheless! Seeing the other characters as scale figures would be cool too, it seems like Lala is the only one getting some love now :/

Kaname Madoka 1/8 by Kotobukiya

This is one of the cutest Madoka figures that I've seen ;3; There was a picture of the artwork this figure is based on and I'm not a big fan of the pillow colors (wouldn't some cute pastel colors fit so much better? ;___;), but we'll see how the final figure looks like!

Hatsune Miku (Magical Mirai 2016 ver.) Nendoroid Co-de

I always try my best not to get any Vocaloid figures, since that'd be another endless collecting road, just like Love Live and the other idol girl series that I'm hooked on :'D But... It's so hard to resist when some of the figures are so cute ;___; This version might even have cute pastel-color gradient hair!

Jeanne d'Arc 1/7 by Max Factory

I swear that Fate/Grand Order figures are going to kill my wallet at some point... The mobile game is only available in Japan, so I'm not able to play it, but the character designs are awesome, just like in all the other Fate series. This Jeanne d'Arc figure looks really promising and I'm looking forward to the colored version!

Lancer Nendoroid

I love it when GSC makes bad ass characters into Nendoroids, they look so freaking cute! XD

Saber 1/7 by Good Smile Company

I'm getting a hit or miss vibe from this figure, it's really hard to say which one it'll be before there's at least a prototype of it >.<

There was also a bunch of other concept art revelations for different characters from Fate/Grand Order, but I won't post them all here since this would end up being even more of a huge post than it already is X'D

Gwendolyn 1/8 by Alter

I'm a bit unsure about her face, but otherwise this figure looks gorgeous! I'd love to get a Gwendolyn figure to accompany Mercedes in the shelf, but I wasn't a fan of the earlier Alter figure. If this one ends up looking good colored and is not too expensive, I just might get her.

This 50cm girl already seemed dangerous when I saw a teaser photo with just a little glimpse of her outfit and after seeing the full photos, I completely fell in love with her! ♥ She looks perfect to me as a fullset: I like her eye and hair color combo, as well as every piece of her outfit~ I've been curious to see a new release of either Lilia (this one) or Luluna, since I really like the faces of those two, but none of the earlier releases were quite my taste. This one I'd absolutely love to own and I really, really hope that I'll be able to pre-order her! Apparently her pre-orders will start in September.

The second 50cm Azone girl that I fell in love with was this cutie~ ♥ I love the pink outfit so much ;w; Her hair color is something that I'm a bit unsure of, I wish it was a less yellow-ish shade of blonde or maybe a completely different color (like light brown or pastel pink ♥). The other version (mint-colored outfit) would have a nice hair color, but I'm not loving her face nor the outfit so much :/ I hope that once Azone releases the official photos I'll be able to make up my mind about which one I like more, and whether or not I'm actually going to buy one.

I'd already seen some photos of this Miu before and knew that I want her badly >3< Her pre-orders are going to start on August 9th and I'm definitely going to try to pre-order her! I wish that Azone has seen how popular these pastel colored cuties are and will make more of them in the future :3

There will also be new Mio in the Otogi no Kuni series, with two versions. The one in this picture is the Direct Store version. I like this one more, but I think I'm going to pass on her since I don't feel like I'd 100% need her, I like the other dolls more and can't buy everything XD

Azone also revealed that they're going to make a Picconeemo version of Raili! As you probably know, I loooove Picconeemos so I'm pretty excited about this ;3; Can't wait to see photos of the actual doll, I really hope that she'll look cute~

Amiami February 2016 loot

I got this package home and took all the pictures last week, but wanted to post all the Easter stuff first :) This way it's also not just posts about new stuff, there are a few photo posts in-between, hahah!

Here's my February loot: Umaru Nendoroid, Sophie prize figure, Re-ment school desk + accessories, and some clothes for my Azones :)

Let's start with the Re-ment school desk and accessories since those are the things that I was most excited about in this order! I'd been wanting the school desk for quite a while, but the original release seemed pretty rare and was going for insane prices at the second-hand market... Then the re-release was announced! I'm sure many people who collect Re-ments were happy about the possibility of getting the desk for an affordable price thanks to this re-release ^3^

There are some differences between the two releases (found this comparison photo from Flickr) and I actually like this new version a lot more. The color is more to my liking and I also like how the "shelves"/upper parts come apart and the desk's look can be altered. I did like the lamp on the older version though, it's a shame that this version doesn't have one. Another thing that I liked about the old version is that it has some soft padding on the chair. I think I'll try to make a little pillow for the chair myself :)

Although I took the picture above with a Picconeemo, this desk is also perfect for Pureneemos. I haven't taken more pics yet, but once I do, I can show how the desk looks with them!

Next, let's take a look at the Umaru Nendoroid! She just has so many great face expressions and accessories - couldn't resist! Me and Sarg have been enjoying the anime and this Nendoroid fits Umaru's character perfectly :) If you haven't watched Himouto Umaru-chan, I do recommend checking it out! It's a great slice-of-life series full of fun moments~

Potato chips and Cola are really important to Umaru!

More of Umaru's necessaries, like pudding and a PSP console XD The PSP can actually be used as a prop for Picconeemos/Pureneemos and other tiny dolls!

Then we have this Sophie prize figure that I snagged from Amiami's preowned section :3 Sophie is my favorite character from Pri Para and as far as I know, this is the only non-chibi figure released of her so far. Why no more love for Sophie? :< I do hope that there'd be at least one pretty scale figure of her in the future!

She only cost around 10€, which surprises me since the quality seems great!

I really love her outfit! ♥ The paintjob looks pretty nice too

Clara also got this pretty dress, which she was wearing in the Easter photo already. Besides the dress, I just got a few basic socks so nothing special to show XD

I was thinking that my March order might get shipped soon, but then noticed that one of the pre-order figures had been delayed to April... There's also one Pureneemo clothing set that isn't in stock yet. Good thing that I don't have an April order, otherwise next month would be quite overwhelming XD

WonFes 2016 winter - figure & Azone doll picks!

I feel bad for making yet another post, while I still haven't replied to the previous comments ;___; But I will get to it after this one, I promise! I'm so excited that I absolutely had to make this post as soon as possible!

For those who didn't know, Wonder Festival 2016 Winter was held this weekend in Japan. WonFes is a big event where many companies announce their future figure and doll releases and have them on display :) This is typically a big weekend for figure collectors, since the amount of upcoming releases is quite overwhelming, especially if there are new figures from many of your favorite series/characters... People will know to start planning their purchases month by month and save up money XD

First, let's take a look at the future doll releases from Azone! The news about upcoming Pureneemos are usually posted on Twitter first, so unless you're on Twitter, you might've not seen some of these yet. I'm such a stalker, so I've been aware of most of these for a while already, some were introduced for the first time at WonFes~ Neemosi had posted great photos of all the dolls, so I'm sharing her tweets :)

Peridot Maya is the first girl from Twinkle a la Mode series, which is based on gemstones. The one with darker outfit is the standard version (available for purchase on Amiami, HobbySearch, etc.), the one with white outfit is the Direct Store version (available only through Azone International web store and physical stores). I really like the white outfit, but already have Maya with blond hair, so I'm going to pass on this one... I'm not sure when the pre-order will start, but I'm suspecting later in this month.

Next we have Sera of Green Gables, another doll to the Otogi no Kuni series, possibly released in March/April :) This one with dark copper hair is the standard version. I really like this hair color and the green eyes, but would've preferred the smiling mouth and the other (blue) outfit... I guess you can't always have everything XD

Sarg fell in love with this black-haired Sera, which is the Direct Store exclusive. It also has the smiling mouth and blue outfit >3< Me and Sarg don't have a Sera in our Neemo family yet and first we planned to get both of these new girl (the red-haired for me and this black-haired for Sarg), but Sarg decided to skip due to other doll-related purchases so I'm re-thinking which one I should order... I do like the smiling mouth a lot more and green is my least favorite color, so the blue outfit would be better. We'll see, we'll see...

Snow White Princess and Snow Black Princess Aika were announced earlier this week. Snow White (blond-haired) will be available as standard version in summer, Snow Black (caramel-haired) is a Hobby Japan limited doll that can only be pre-ordered through Dollybird vol.23 magazine until summer (the other details are still unknown). Of course I fell in love with the limited version, though once again, I would've preferred a different mouth XD I've ordered the Dollybird magazine and will try to figure out a way to get her, but if it gets too complicated (since I don't live in Japan), I might hunt her down from Yahoo Japan or just pre-order Snow White instead.

This is the doll that I'm most excited about right now, Mermaid Princess Minami! ♥ A teaser of her was posted on Twitter earlier this week, showing just a glimpse of her pastel-colored outfit and even that got me really excited. Back then they didn't say the doll's name yet and I thought she'd be either Himeno or Miu... I was so surprised when it was actually Minami! I also thought that she was a fairy princess, but fairies and mermaids are both very relevant to my interests so it doesn't matter XD I absolutely love her~ ♥♥ 

She'll be released sometime this spring, I haven't noticed details on her availability (standard or limited) yet. I hope she'll be a standard version ^^; Anyway, I'll be hunting her down no matter what!

After Maya, the next Twinkle a la Mode girl will be Lapis Lazuli Yuzuha, no sales schedule has been given yet. This black-haired girl is the normal sales version, the one with white outfit in the background (you can see better photos on Neemosi's Twitter!) is the exclusive version. For once I like this standard version more, hahah XD Definitely going to pre-order her, I've been wanting a black-haired Yuzuha! My nickname safir comes from sapphire (one of my favorite gems) and I thought that 's the gem behind Yuzuha, but it was actually lapis lazuli... This actually gave me the idea to name my Yuzuha as Sapphire, so she'll be my lovely sapphire in any case~

I don't know much about this girl, but she's a 50cm Azone doll from the Happiness Clover series and looks really pretty! There are so many lovely releases coming up that I will have to pass on this girl, but I would definitely love to have a big Azone girl someday ;___;

After dolls we're moving on to the figures... At first I thought I'd share my thoughts on everything that caught my interest, but there were more than I expected and this would become a looong post if I rambled about all of the figures ^^; So I'm only sharing the photos and info on what the figure is.

There doesn't seem to be a complete list of all new WonFes figures on Myfigurecollection yet, but once I see one, I'll add a link to this post! (EDIT. The list!)

Besides prototypes and colored figures, there were also some interesting announcements as just concept art. When the figure companies show just the image, you don't really know the final product  turn out until there are pictures of the prototype. I usually try not to get too excited of releases at this point, since I could easily end up disappointed if something turns out the way I don't like, but thought I'd still include these in this post.

I guess this became a long post even without a lot of text, sorry about that ^^; This was a lot of figures (many Nendoroids again, hahah) and I'm still uncertain if I'll be ordering all of them - if I had endless money sources, I'd definitely want to lol XD Once there is more information on their release schedules, I can decide which ones to get and which ones to pass. I hope they won't all get released in the same month...

The first package to the new home!

Greetings from our new home! ♥ The moving went quite smoothly and even though there was a lot of stuff to unpack and arrange, we've managed to do most of that already and have settled in nicely ^.^ I was planning to do a little apartment introduction/tour at some point (once this place starts to look less messy and more complete), I don't know if people would be interested in seeing it? I do have a little enthusiastic home decorator side on me, so there might be more home related posts from now on as well :3

Moving on to the actual subject - the first package that I've received after moving here :3

My Amiami order from July was already available for pick-up at the post office last week, but with all the other hassle I wasn't in a hurry to fetch it. Today I had some free time after running a few errands, so I decided to go pick up the package! The order doesn't include my Azone clothing pre-orders for the month, since I've decided not to combine them with my figure orders anymore (as some Azone items always get delayed and I end up having to wait longer for my figures because of that >3<).

So, here's what I got!

Nendoroid Co-de of Pri Para's Sophie ♥ She's my favorite character from the series and I absolutely love this figure of her~ The dress and everything looks so pretty!

Nendoroid Co-de of Mireille, also from Pri Para :3 I find the character's personality a bit annoying, but I must admit that I do love her character design and thus she's just adorable as a figure XD This pose is just perfect, I think GSC nailed it!

Lala got her two friends home, now I have the complete trio~ ♥ I'm not going to buy the other characters, since I don't really like them... These three are cuties enough for me ^^

Umi is the newest addition to my family of Love Live Nendoroids >:3 Now I'm only missing Maki and Nozomi, which will be released in this month and October.

I also got this cute pinched rubber strap of Saber ♥ I've lately become addicted to these straps, now I only wish to come up with a way to display them nicely~

In other news, tomorrow I'll start studying Print Design in a vocational school ^^ I'm really excited (and nervous!) since this is something that I've always wanted to study, but never had the courage to actually try! I've designed websites, made graphics, photographed and edited photos since I was like 10 years old, and always dreamed of becoming an educated graphic designer, with the knowledge on both digital and printed media (the latter I've been lacking so far). This school will mainly focus on printed media, but I believe there will also be some courses on digital media :)

Anyway, I'm looking forward to it~!

Winter WonFes 2015 wishlist...

Winter WonFes 2015 was held in Japan today (Sunday) and enormous amount of new figure releases were announced ;___; I got quite excited over a number of them, so I wanted to make a blog post rambling about the ones I'm going to keep an eye on. I hope that at least some of these turn out not to be must-haves after more updates on their making progress, my wallet would feel miserable if I had to get all...

There was an INSANE amount of new Saber figures announced (though it seems to happen every year), but luckily there was only one that caught my attention... This Saber Alter by Good Smile Company ;w; ♥ It already looks like it's gonna have a huuge price tag on it, but if it turns out as amazing as I can imagine, I think I need to get her anyway...

I'm probably known as a huge fan of Love Live, but another music-themed anime that I love is Pri Para! SEGA announced that they're going to make a prize figure of Manaka Lala. There were also announcements for Nendoroid versions of Hojou Sophie and Minami Mirei !!

KIRBYYYYY!! ♥♥♥ I love this silly little thing XD

Let's not forget about Love Live... They got many new releases too u_u SEGA announced prize figures of Nozomi, Kotori and Nico in their "Sore wa Bokutachi no Kisaki" outfits ♥ The other girls have been announced earlier already and I've apparently missed these news completely ^^; I don't know whether or not I should try to collect a fullset of these... I do like their outfits and poses and all, but I already have 2 other Love Live prize figure sets and a group of nine takes a lot of space, so...

Max Factory will make figmas of ALL nine girls, but in their school uniforms so I'm not especially interested in them, thank god XD Bandai announced S.H.Figuarts action figures of Honoka, Kotori and Umi... They've released some of the girls previously, but I'm more of a fan of figmas in general, so I've been waiting for Max Factory to make nice figmas of Love Live girls. Now seeing that they're going for the school uniforms, I'm not sure if I should continue waiting or get the S.H.Figuarts versions after all >.<

And then there is this thing, which really made my heart skip a beat... Seriously, RAH of Michelle??? *O* I didn't care about the series (Terra Formars) that much, but I looove Michelle's character~ She reminds me of my Carmen X'D RAH are quite expensive and there's a possibility that this could be an exclusive release, so I don't know if I should just forget it ;___; She does look awesome though and would make a nice fighting pair to my RAH Saber XD
