A thousand cherry blossoms

As promised, a few cherry blossom photos of Ceci and Janna from the Hanami meetup :) I only got a few good photos though and the posing is repetitive, but I still like these~

I've had this lovely pink yukata (from Infinite Love) for a while now and this seemed like the perfect moment to take photos of Ceci wearing it! I even made a pair of matching geta shoes, but unfortunately they don't really show in the photos :( And you also can't see the gorgeous painting that Sarg did on the parasol so well! I definitely need to take more photos on our yard at some point :)

We actually had an audience as some people came to wonder what kind of doll Ceci is and wanted to take photos, for some reason they wanted to take photos of ME as well ^^;; It was quite hard to focus on taking photos of your doll when at the same time some strangers are taking photos of you, lol...

Next up is Janna-sensei in the tree! I wish I could've dressed her up in a yukata/kimono as well, but unfortunately I don't have any for my Neemos yet :'( Azone's summer clothing collection will have some lovely ones though, so I'm definitely going to grab a bunch of them~ I need more Pureneemo clothes in general too!

A daily dose of cuteness

Here are some BJD photos I took on Tuesday~ I uploaded them on my Flickr and DeviantArt accounts already, but thought that I could put them here on my blog as well :) I wish I would've taken more photos, but the weather wasn't the best possible (so windy and a bit rainy..) and I was afraid to pose these two SD sized dolls all by myself, I don't want them to fall and break their noses or fingers ; . ; Maybe I'll get to take some more shots once Sarg comes for a visit again and can act as a bodyguard in case either of them decides to fall XD

On left we have Ceci (Iplehouse nYID Emilia) and on left is Jade (Iplehouse nYID Mari) ^^ These two are best friends in my and Sarg's RP story and they're also in the same class at school. By appearance they may look quite different, but they both have rather insecure and shy personalities and also share lots of same interests (like cats and Hello Kitty, lol).

Jade is probably explaining how to bid on Yahoo Japan's Hello Kitty auctions or something... X''D

I've previously shared pictures of Jade with a black wig and black/pink color themed outfit, which is what my original plans for her style were. I'm usually very precise about what kind of style and colors I want my dolls/characters to wear, but with Jade I guess she'll get to be a bit of a chameleon and change between these couple of different styles. Her natural hair color is black, but she likes wearing colorful/pastel wigs sometimes and dressing up in pastel goth or gothic lolita ^^

Jade's pastel goth outfit took quite a while to get 100% completed, I think I slowly worked on it for a couple of months... It did took time to gather all the materials and plan the designs, but mainly I'm just such a lazy bun and have zero skills at concentration that everything takes a long, long time ^^; It doesn't matter though, for I love all the planning, designing, sewing and crafting, even if it seems to take a forever ♥

I'm not sure if any of my dolls has ever worn this much self-made stuff at once X'D Basically everything except the bag and shoes is self-made... The wig was originally long and curly, but I was bored one day and gave it a radical haircut :D I really like the result! (Yup, I have a thing for bob-cut hair, it's sooo cute...)

The skirt is actually made of a children's skirt that I had to buy after seeing it on sale X'D I would've wanted it in my own size, but they only had sizes up to 122cm and there was no way I would've fitted in that... So I unleashed my disappointment by tearing it apart and using the fabric for a doll sized skirt hahaha XD

For the shirt, I wanted to create something simple, but with some nice little details (like the studs on the neckline). I browsed through a bunch of pastel goth shirt designs while trying to figure out what kind of print I'd want on the shirt... In the end I didn't want to go for an already existing design, but to create something fun of my own! The leggings have simple crosses that I painted as well.

Then there're all the million accessories; hairband, Hello Kitty bow hairpin, rose/leather choker, star-shaped earrings, cross necklace, pastel bracelets and black stud bracelet... Shortly, a lot of stuff ^^;

Café meet-up ♥

We had a fun Sunday meet-up with some friends again, yaaay~ Sarg couldn't make it this time, but otherwise we had the same group as in the last meetup :) So there was me, Spica, Tiinyan, Janina and our new addition Elina, who I wanted to invite as well ♥

This time we went to a café and ordered some yummy things, I chose Daim chocolate cake and lemon ice tea :3 They were both delicious, I think I've never had ice tea that tasted so good! Hopefully we'll visit there sometime again! ♥ Though I'm such a cheapskate when it comes to food... I wonder how I can buy expensive dolls, figures, etc. without thinking "hey, that's expensive!", but every time I go to a café or a restaurant I cringe a bit at the prices, thinking how much stuff I'd get from a grocery store with the same amount hahah XD (Like 20 chocolate donuts from Lidl...) But oh well, I guess it's good to spoil yourself from time to time!

I feel bad that I didn't take individual photos of all dolls that were present, like Elina's cuties and Tiinyan's adorable Risu-chan Chiika ;___; The lighting wasn't superb so it was hard to get close-ups and I also kinda got distracted from the dolls itself and focused more on the fun chatting we had X''D Hope we can go on a picnic meet-up when the weather gets warmer, it'd be more fun to take photos outside~

The beautiful Dollfie Dream ladies, Spica's on left and Janina's on right ♥ I've always wanted to see a DD in person and these two only made my DD fever grow XD I'm still trying to figure out if I really, really need one or could I just settle for enjoying pictures from other people, etc. >3< But boy, I do want one...

Janina brought along her Sonico nendoroid with a maid outfit!! ♥♥ I might need to add this to my Nendoroid wishlist, argh XD

This minty blue Mr. Alpaca was such a charming fellow as well~ I thought that I'd be safe from buying more Arpakasso plushies (already have two), but... Now I want more X''D I have one pink Arpakasso (with heart-shaped eyeglasses ♥) in the same size as this one, if the two met would we get a bunch of baby Alpacas?? XDD

Spica's Azone cutie and Tiinyan's Mamachapp ;3; Why must there be so many different dolls that are so damn cute... *trying hard to stick with BJDs and Azones only* XD

I didn't manage to get a properly focused photo of Tiinyan's adorable Minami-sensei, so I need to share this crappy one... Because it was so awesome being able to see this lady IRL~ ♥ It's my grail Azone at the moment ;___; There was this strange moment during the meet-up when we all were a bit farther away from the table taking photos and chatting... I happened to randomly look at this Minami-sensei and noticed that she was looking right at me!! With that hand sign I got the feeling like she was cheering me on about hunting for my own Minami-sensei ;___; (She actually might've been a true Lady Luck for me, we'll find out soon... )

Elina and Tiinyan left a bit earlier than the rest of us, we decided to go take a few quick photos in a place with a bit better lighting before leaving :)

And with Ceci and Miu~ My first impression on DDs was that I thought they're a lot easier to photograph than BJDs... I don't know if it's just me, but I feel like with BJDs you need to be super careful about how you pose them and were they're looking at, so that they don't end up looking weird, like Ceci did here ^^; But you could take a photo of a DD from any direction and it still looks damn cute! (Lol when I showed this photo to Sarg, she said that those cat faces on Ceci's socks look like they're looking at Spica's Yumeka's legs, thus the unnecessary edit... XDD)

And last, little Miu wanted to send greetings to all of you! ♥

Happy New Year 2015 !

I'm currently celebrating the New Year over at Sarg's place and we wanted to take a quick photo to wish you guys a happy New Year ^w^ I had Ceci and Jade with me, so we agreed that this is going to be a photo full of Iples... Plus little Chici in Shagrilah's hood and Ceci's Azone on her lap XD

Let's hope that year 2015 will be full of happiness and great time <3
