Clothing order from Rrabit

We recently ordered some cute clothes from Rrabit :) They sell gorgeous clothing, as well as accessories, shoes and wigs. I've ordered from them a few times in the past and everything has always been awesome quality. The prices are still quite cheap in my opinion, so I definitely recommend checking out this shop if you're looking for cute clothing with affordable prices~

The site can be a bit challenging to navigate since clothes can be found from many categories, there is a category for Rrabit's own clothes and separate categories for the clothes from other "brands", like Miska - Afternoon Tea. I recommend browsing through all them to make sure that you won't miss anything :)

A bit more info about our order for reference: we placed the order on October 12th and got a shipping notice on the very next day! The package arrived super fast - it only took one week, even though we chose the Registered Airmail instead of EMS :) The box had gotten a bit of damage during its journey, but all the items were still in perfect shape. Each of the items was packed in a separate plastic bag with a cute "card". We we in a hurry to get the dolls dressed, so this time we skipped taking any pictures of the box and other packaging ^^;

Here's what I got:

White lace pants in 1/3 size

I couldn't find a link to these anymore, so I'm guessing that they're sold out now and the link was removed... Anyway, I got these mainly for Susu, but a few other girls can wear them as well (at least if Susu lets them, lol...) The size is a perfect fit for DDS body, I haven't tried the pants on my other girls yet so I'm hoping that these fit them as well. I'm a bit sad that the pink version of these was sold out when we ordered, I would've loved to get that color too!

Light purple girl down jumper in 1/3 size

I finally decided to order this after months of hesitation and I'm glad that I did, since it seems to be sold out now... The color is perfect for Jade's pastel goth look and I love how you can take off the hood and sleeves and use it also as a vest, like in this picture :3 This'll be the perfect autumn look and during the winter Jade can wear this as a jacket with the sleeves!

Light pink chiffon lotus shirt in 1/3 size
If there's something in pink available, I must have it ^^;; I fell in love with this blouse at first sight and it also fits Susu perfectly~ The color is just the perfect shade of pink too ;3; My girls are going to be fighting over this shirt, I'm sure...

I also got the chiffon lotus shirt in white (1/3 size) and Sarg got it in creamy color. We haven't tried these on a doll yet, but since the fabric is a bit see-through I think the white one might need something underneath.

Besides the creamy shirt, Sarg also got a few other things:

Blueberry straw ribbon hat in 1/3 size
This was a lot larger than expected, but it still looks pretty nice. Sarg's Umbra seems to like it x3 There were many of these hats available with different ribbon and flower colors. I would've loved to get one for Susumi as well, but I remembered that I had already ordered one for her from Taobao :'D

Grey-ish blue chiffon lotus shirt in 1/3 size

The size fits the new Super Gem body perfectly and Sarg was really happy with the color as well. Many blue shirts (and other pieces of clothing) tend to be very bright, which can look childish, but Umbra needs clothes in this specific grey-ish shade. It was a pleasure to see that the color in person looks the same as in the sales pictures.

Sarg got the same color shirt in 1/4 size as well. 

This size is perfect for Nova (Withdoll boy) and the color works perfectly as well. We haven't tried this on a girl MSD yet, but it feels like it might be a better fit for a boy. At least for a slim mini girl it might be a bit too big, unless you modded it.

Brown boy down jumper in 1/3 size
Sarg actually got this for Renate (Iplehouse EID Raffine), but since the doll is not home yet, Ronya got to model for us :D The boy size seems to fit EID women well.

We're already thinking about making another order to Rrabit, since there are still some shirts and stuff that we'd love to get :'D There's no telling how long they'll stay in stock, so we need to act fast!

A daily dose of cuteness

Here are some BJD photos I took on Tuesday~ I uploaded them on my Flickr and DeviantArt accounts already, but thought that I could put them here on my blog as well :) I wish I would've taken more photos, but the weather wasn't the best possible (so windy and a bit rainy..) and I was afraid to pose these two SD sized dolls all by myself, I don't want them to fall and break their noses or fingers ; . ; Maybe I'll get to take some more shots once Sarg comes for a visit again and can act as a bodyguard in case either of them decides to fall XD

On left we have Ceci (Iplehouse nYID Emilia) and on left is Jade (Iplehouse nYID Mari) ^^ These two are best friends in my and Sarg's RP story and they're also in the same class at school. By appearance they may look quite different, but they both have rather insecure and shy personalities and also share lots of same interests (like cats and Hello Kitty, lol).

I've previously shared pictures of Jade with a black wig and black/pink color themed outfit, which is what my original plans for her style were. I'm usually very precise about what kind of style and colors I want my dolls/characters to wear, but with Jade I guess she'll get to be a bit of a chameleon and change between these couple of different styles. Her natural hair color is black, but she likes wearing colorful/pastel wigs sometimes and dressing up in pastel goth or gothic lolita ^^

Jade's pastel goth outfit took quite a while to get 100% completed, I think I slowly worked on it for a couple of months... It did took time to gather all the materials and plan the designs, but mainly I'm just such a lazy bun and have zero skills at concentration that everything takes a long, long time ^^; It doesn't matter though, for I love all the planning, designing, sewing and crafting, even if it seems to take a forever ♥

I'm not sure if any of my dolls has ever worn this much self-made stuff at once X'D Basically everything except the bag and shoes is self-made... The wig was originally long and curly, but I was bored one day and gave it a radical haircut :D I really like the result! (Yup, I have a thing for bob-cut hair, it's sooo cute...)

The skirt is actually made of a children's skirt that I had to buy after seeing it on sale X'D I would've wanted it in my own size, but they only had sizes up to 122cm and there was no way I would've fitted in that... So I unleashed my disappointment by tearing it apart and using the fabric for a doll sized skirt hahaha XD

For the shirt, I wanted to create something simple, but with some nice little details (like the studs on the neckline). I browsed through a bunch of pastel goth shirt designs while trying to figure out what kind of print I'd want on the shirt... In the end I didn't want to go for an already existing design, but to create something fun of my own! The leggings have simple crosses that I painted as well.

Then there're all the million accessories; hairband, Hello Kitty bow hairpin, rose/leather choker, star-shaped earrings, cross necklace, pastel bracelets and black stud bracelet... Shortly, a lot of stuff ^^;

Jade's tattoos

Some of Jade's tattoos were finished weeks ago, but I was more focused on making some clothes for her than taking any photos ^^; Now I can finally show how she looks like now~

I know I promised some WIP photos, but turns out that I'm really bad with taking those.. XD When I'm working on something I feel it looks like a complete mess until it's all finished, so taking photos of the unfinished work didn't really inspire me lol. The making steps were quite simple though; first I designed the tattoos on paper, then sketched them on the doll, then black lines and last coloring :)

All of the tattoos were made with Sarg's help ♥ I designed the images and sketched them on the doll, but Sarg helped me and my shaky hands by painting the black lines and also helped a lot with the coloring! I really couldn't have done this without her~

The lingerie that Jade is wearing is also made by me :3 I had made the panties earlier and luckily had just enough of that pink lace fabric to make a matching bra! This was the first proper bra that I've ever attempted to make, so I'm really happy with it~

I was supposed to take just a few tattoo pictures, but I find Iple girls so damn photogenic that I often end up taking a dozen of photos of them in simple poses or just of their faces X'D That happened this time as well... So have a few extra photos!

She also has a cute navel piercing!

 So, Jade is starting to look more and more like my character ♥ I still have some tattoo plans for her (like maybe continuing her left hand?) and she also needs some piercings~

Happy New Year 2015 !

I'm currently celebrating the New Year over at Sarg's place and we wanted to take a quick photo to wish you guys a happy New Year ^w^ I had Ceci and Jade with me, so we agreed that this is going to be a photo full of Iples... Plus little Chici in Shagrilah's hood and Ceci's Azone on her lap XD

Let's hope that year 2015 will be full of happiness and great time <3

Iplehouse box opening~!

FINALLY we got our Iplehouse order home!
The postal system was being such a pain for once, since the tracking claimed they'd tried to deliver the package, even though there were two people stalking at home for the whole morning and no signs of the mailman X'D Well, the second time they tried to deliver it, Sarg had already left to work and when they called her she just said to take the package to the post office, even though she knew it would be a big and heavy one to carry (over 7 kilos)... But at least that way we managed to get the box out of their hands u_u

So, me and Sarg made this order in October and received the shipping notice exactly 2 months later :) Sarg ordered nYID Vampire Chris on EID woman body (in grey skin) and I ordered SID Mari on nYID body (in peach gold skin). These two are a couple (though there's also a "third wheel" in their relationship...), so it was great to be able to order them together ♥

Here's Jade with her own eyes~ I was originally planning green, but I'm glad that I switched over to this color since it looks so pretty on her ♥ I didn't have her wig with me when I went to pick her up from Sarg's, but I'll introduce her officially later when she has a faceup and some clothes (I've only finished a skirt and panties...)

That's it for the box opening and photo spam XD Now we just need to get them both styled, do faceups and tattoos, etc. It's going to be a lot of work for both of us, but we'll be sharing some photos once they're done. I might post some WIP pictures as well, we'll see~

Shipping notice from Iplehouse

I just received a shipping notice for my and Sarg's Iplehouse order!! So our girls Jade (nYID Mari) and Terra (EID f.Chris female) are on their way ^3^ It was a fun thing that both of us had this strong feeling that we might get the shipping notice today... And then it actually happened!

I was contemplating on combiding a few clothing items to the order, but looks like that won't be possible anymore lol XD This is what you get for being such a procrastinator... I thought that I'd have time until mid December, since that's the estimated shipping time that IH told us before. But oh well, I'm more excited about the dolls being on their way already than sad about missing the possibility of adding in some clothes!

I'm currently waiting for two dolls, Lili (Luts Tiny Delf Gretel Elf, ordered on September 15th) and Jade (Iplehouse DC nYID Mari, ordered on October 4th). Lili was shipped last week, so she should be here any day now hurray!! I think the most nerve-wracking part of the waiting is always the final wait after the doll has been shipped... I've been checking the tracking constantly, but she hasn't landed to Finland yet. I do hope she'll make it home during this week ;3; *crosses fingers*

Also, today I asked about the status for my Iplehouse order (also including Sarg's Terra, Iplehouse EID F.Chris) and they gave me a shipping estimate of "mid December" ^w^ Hopefully our couple will be arriving just in time for Christmas then~
